Assoc. Prof. Nihal Yurtseven holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction. She teaches and researches in the areas of curriculum development, instructional design, teaching, and learning. She has taken part in several projects about teachers’ professional development, quality education, sustainability, and climate change. She managed a national project, called Designer Teacher, on the design-oriented professional development of teachers. Currently, she is the vice dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences and the director of Center of Teaching and Learning (CLT), a center which is established for the personal and professional development of the academics and the administrative staff as well as students.
